Average Rating: Rating: - The Best Shade You Could Ever Find The Oxford Garden 9' market umbrella outshades all others. The attention to detail is incredible. All materials...the poly-canvas, the shorea wood, and the real brass fittings are top quality. The umbrella is designed with 8 ribs which provides more strength. You won't have to worry about it breaking on a windy day. The use of a two pulley system makes it so easy to raise and lower the umbrella. I poured over similar umbrellas on auctions sites that were a third of the price, but kept coming back to the Oxford Garden. I even contacted the manufacturer before my purchase. They were right on target with the description of the quality of their product. I live in a resort area. As a final test before my purchase, I visited a local resort. They had two similar market umbrellas around the pool which were purchased at a local discount retailer for a third of the price. After only one season, both had broken ribs that were rigged with aluminum tubing. The wood was cracking and the finish was all but gone. The sectioned pole was loose and wobbly. I could not be happier with my purchase. Rating: - Impressive Quality for the Price! I started my journey for a decent quality outdoor umbrella at Lowes and Home Depot. To my disappointment, what they had in the store appeared to be cheaply made. I then headed to the local patio center, only to find that most of the low end umbrellas started at $350. Again, I left empty handed. After reading the reviews on the Oxford Umbrella, I decided to order one. I am pleased to report that I am extremely impressed with the quality. The fabric is thick and well made and the mechanics of the umbrella work very smoothly. In fact, I liked this umbrella so much that I very quickly purchased another. I would certainly recommend this umbrella. Rating: - Superior Quality on both umbrella and stand I have shopped around for an umbrella and so happy at the value and price of this item.. plus the stand is very heavy duty. Would highly recommend..these pairs go for MUCH more at the stores...I did good! THANKS!!
