Average Rating: Rating: - Correct Wine Glass Please note that the wine glass depicted above is slightly different than the ones I received. The new ones are slightly taller, narrower at the mouth, and wider with a more angular flare in the girdle. This is a better glass that the old Burgundy bowl from Spiegelau. Also note that appropriate stemware does enhance a wine's flavor, nose and appeal, at least for me. Rating: - Wine tastes so much better in these glasses! My husband and I love these glasses. They are really really thin and wine taste so much better on the lips. Because the glass is large there is so much more aroma. It is easy to see the "legs" of the wine on the side of the glass. I don't think I ever tasted the real wine flavor before I used Spigelau glass. Rating: - Bigger is Better When it comes to a wine glass for wines from the Burgundy region, or in the Burgundy style, Bigger is Better. Not only are these glasses big, but the bowl is shaped to allow the most surface area of the wine possible to come in contact with the air. Fill this glass to the widest part of the bowl and give it a big swirl. This glass will make even an inexpensive wine taste like you have something to celebrate.
