Average Rating: Rating: - Finally Found It! After purchasing 3 other coffee makers, the 4th one is the charm! This coffee maker makes great tasting coffee. I never knew there was a difference -- it's worth spending a few more dollars on. It also has all of the features I was looking for such as: adjustable warming plate, 1-4 cup selection, water filter, programmable. It is a rather tall machine, but certainly not a problem as it fits fine underneathe most cabinets. Als, the carafe is well-made and has a spout that pours nicely without spilling. No complaints about this one! Rating: - Great coffee maker, one annoying (but minor) flaw Like many other reviewers, we had been in search of a great coffee maker. Being from Seattle, we have our choice of many machines, but most have too many bells and whistles or cost too much. The Cuisinart DCC1200 is quiet, makes great coffee, keeps coffee hot and looks cool. The retro-chrome look is a nice change from the white or black plastic of most other machines. Here's the one flaw: After brewing the coffee, condensation builds up on the underside of the top lid. When you lift it up to make a new pot and/or to dispose of the grounds, the condensation drips down the back of ther machine. The designers of this machine should have included some type of drip channel below the hinge to collect the condensation and run it back into the water reservoir. ... Rating: - A "GREAT" Coffee Maker. I have purchased a new coffee maker about each year for the last 10 years. Finally, I have found one that is "so far, so good." I purchased this one at Marshall-Field in February and it's going strong. One of it's biggest features is that it has a cleaning cycle and will let you know when it needs cleaning. It has not needed it yet and we drink a lot of coffee. Oh, you can pour without leaking all over! The caraffe doesn't drip and the cover fits nicely. You can adjust the warming temp so your coffee will taste fresh for up to about 3 hours. The timer is easily programmed and has never failed us for our "wake up." The warmer has been steadfast; no crumbling surface,or paint wearing off. The stainless steel cleans easily and always looks elite. Brewing time is average, coffee flavor is excellent if you grind your beans fine. So far is much more durable than my previous Bunn, or many Mr. Coffee Expess' and muc
