The Bissell Go•Vac greatly exceeded my expectations of a stick vacuum. First of all, I enjoy the fact that it's cordless and rechargable. Its cordless design makes it very easy to reach under furniture, and to go from room to room without the hassle of cords being caught around corners, coming loose from the wall, etc. I found myself actually *enjoying* vacuuming with this vacuum! Froot-Loops crunched into the carpet? Zoom. Get the Go•Vac. Dryer lint in the hall? Go•Vac. Dirt dragged in from the backyard? Go•Vac sucks it all up! With its detachable handle, it's easy to use even in the car! This vacuum went instantly from carpet to hardwood floors to linoleum and did a very thorough job. I ***highly*** recommend this product for families, students, and even kids, as its lightweight design will encourage even young kids to care for their own living space. While it may not replace a full-size vacuum, it will definitely be a great asset to your cleaning equipment and will absolutely help maintain a clean 'look' between cleanings. 5 minutes before company arrives? Whip out the Go•Vac and your home instantly looks much, MUCH cleaner! The only caveats to this glowing review: 12 minute vacuuming time limit and no notification when the charging cycle is complete.

for the price, you can't find a better cordless vac on the market. It's hard to find, of course, because vendors are looking to sell you inferior similar products for as much as $..., and they don't work as well as this vac does. Its cordless, its compact, it picks up almost anything, including pet hair, hay, dirt, crumbs from any type of floor, rugs, linoleum, tile and woodflooring. the collection cup comes on/off easily, replacement filters won't break the bank, and you will be amazed at how much this tiny little vac picks up!!
I have 2 housetrained rabbits, everyday i use the vacuum to pick up hay, fur and of course crumbs from around the table, and it does a great job. it can fit into corners, under almost anything, and is very manuverable and lightweight.
It doesn't make a lot of noise compared to bigger vac's, so it doesn't scare pets when used around them. The charge lasts almost 30 minutes, that's enough time to vacuum a large living room, kitchen, foyer den..and two large rabbit condos that have carpeting in them, and there is alot of charge left in it....
The only thing negative is after a while the carbon chips come out of the filter, but this is not a big deal. I've had mine now for 2 yrs, the same battery, it is still going strong.
It makes a great gift, too! Everyone i bought it for loves it!

Don't buy an expensive alternative, like the shark, the whirlpool model, or anyother cordless vac that costs more, you will be disappointed and waste your money....
This is a great little vacuum, for the price, you can't beat it. Retail stores don't carry it, they want you to buy the more pricey models they have, don't settle for second best!!

Reading some of these reviews, you wouldn't think they were talking about the same sweeper. People either give it five stars or one star. I bought this just to pick up dog hair in the kitchen and laundry room. The suction was terrible and the sweeper was messy to empty. I was so disappointed that I returned it after three days use. The Eureka 96B Boss Lite is the same price as the Bissell Go Vac, and it has amazing suction and battery life. I highly recommend the Eureka 96B Boss Lite instead of the Bissell Go Vac.
