Average Rating: Rating: - A Clean Sweep! We're cat people and with our band of banshees there is a daily distribution of fur and other evidence of their nocturnal activities. We've owned three other cordless vacs over the last 10 years and none compare to the pick-up power of this vacuum. Especially when it comes to picking up litter crumbs - the kind that hide in the carpet. It was always frustrating to have to hand clean the missed debris but with the EUREKA 570B it's a CLEAN SWEEP... This is the first Product review that we've written and that's because we really had to be pleased with (or hate) a product to merit a review. After the first charge, we were so impressed with the cleaning of a small area we went ahead and did the whole house - 2000 sq ft on a single charge. Rating: - A PET HAIR MUST HAVE!!!! This vacuum should be sold in every pet store with every shedding pet as part of the package with the cage, bowls and pet shampoo, etc. It is lite, picks up dust and hair and is very easy to incorporate into a daily routine. I like having the limited time with the battery since I am somewhat obsessive and would stay home all day and find things to clean it on if the battery never ran out. GET THIS - I bought and returned an Oreck that I spent almost $500 for since it didn't pick up the pet hair well on the hard floors. The lady in the Oreck store told me I have to vacuum very SLOWLY to pick up the hairs. I also couldn't get close to the edges with the Oreck - for that I had to unplug the upright vac and plug in the handheld. Oreck became an all day affair. My husband suggested that I get a nice big self propel vac. I told him that I can't get that machine until it propels itself up the stairs. The only reasons I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is because it doesn't pick up bigger particles such as cereal or pieces of dog food. Also, when I vacuum under the couch where there is a lot of pet hair very often the pet hair collects on the bottom of the vac without ever really getting sucked up. All in All, the benefits greatly outweigh the short comings since it is much easier to pick up a piece of cereal than pet hair. When you try to sweep pet hair it whirls all around and into the air. Remember it was never meant to be a heavy duty vac but it sure comes close and it is the easiest way to vacuum if you need to vacuum daily. I never enjoyed vacuuming before but now I enjoy having a clean looking house with LITTLE EFFORT. I also really like the fact that this vac is quiet enough for my dog not to go bulistic. He really doesn't mind this one at all unless it is coming really close toward him. It is very versatile on hard floors as well as carpets and I like the fact that I could get the crumbs that are along the edges of the room without needing a separate hand held. I LOVE MY NEW TOY ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE! Rating: - Eureka Boss cordless A light weigth cordless, bagless,efficient machine. I keep it charging in the corner of my kitchen and vacuum with ease anytime. With no cord and no bag it makes vacuuming the kitchen floor and carpets quick and easy. The power is good and lasts about 20 minutes. Not for heavy cleaning, but terrific for quick pickups and vacuuming traffic areas when you don't want to lug out the heavy duty vacuum machine. Would be perfect for a college dorm, a small apartment or for the elderly who can't use heavy machines.I liked it so much I bought both my daughters one.
