Average Rating: Rating: - Just because it IS Oneida! I have not received my 53 piece set yet .. but I know Oneida . I grew up close to where it is made and know that they have always been or should say 'my wonderful Mom's choice for fine products' .. she was very fussy .. A proper Bostonian .. I have many other Oneida products and look forward to this set of flatware .. No polishing needed ... always nice .. Save the sterling (if one has it) for special occasions! .. It is a wonderful price as I know when I sold some of Mom's Oneida stainless .. I got so much more than I every thought I would .. I should have kept it .. then would not need this one! .. Alas, I did not .. but shall have it back soon .. So to speak:-) Rating: - Great Basic Flatware This set of Oneida flatware is a joy to own; the pattern is simple, elegant, and easy to live with. The design is timeless and the flatware is very durable. They are easy care; just put them in the dishwasher and they come out shiny and as good as new. I bought one set a few months ago and came back to order another. It is a fantastic set of flatware and a great deal as well. I enjoy the serving set and the extra set of teaspoons that are included in the set. I just love the fact that I got a a great price AND a bonus service for four along with the service for eight on this order. Thanks Amazon! Rating: - updated version... My husband and I registered for this pattern 10 years ago. I was looking to add to my settings for a big thanksgiving holiday. When I received it, I noticed that the pattern was the same style and shape, but the finish on the dimple was brushed stainless, instead of polished (like my 10 year old pattern!) Needless to stay, it was nice to have a more updated look to mix into my table settings. Now I want to buy more!
