Rating:  - The George Foreman Grill really does "cut the fat" from food
This is easily the best "As Seen On TV" product ever made (I'd like to see Ronco top this marvelous machine). As I am writing this review, I am eating boneless skinless chicken breasts that were made on the George Foreman "Champ" Grill". They are so good that words cannot describe how good they are...just sprinkle some "Mrs. Dash 'Table Blend'" on the chicken breasts before you cook them, put them on the grill, and have a great chicken dinner (only other thing you have to do is find something to go along with the chicken [maybe some white rice]). Cleanup is so easy it's ridiculous! The nonstick surface allows you to clean the grill surface with a soft clean cloth or sponge (dampened with warm water, of course), and the drip tray can go in the dishwasher. Just yesterday I prepared some turkey burgers (from Wampler Foods) on the grill, and it is amazing how much fat will be drained from turkey burgers (even though turkey meat has less fat that ground beef [which is what hamburger patties are made of], it still has fat). The George Foreman Grill really does "cut the fat" from food!

I purchased this product a few years ago and my love for it has not waned. It's compact, stylish, it heats up quickly, and cleans up very easily. I can cook hamburgers, boneless chicken breasts, and other meats(including fish)that are not too thick, directly from the freezer (a very necessary function for me since I often forget to put the meat in the fridge to defrost the night before). The fats and oils conveniently drain into the provided drip tray making the meal healthier (a plus for the health conscious). I have even used the grill to grill potatoes - a healthy alternative to when I'm craving the usual fat-laden fries from the fast food place. Simply peel and slice the potatotes, grill till their cooked then sprinkle with whatever spices you desire. Easy and fast! The only problem I see with the product is that the spatula provided is a bit on the flimsy side and I lost a few burger patties to the kitchen floor before going out and purchasing a more sturdy rubbermaid spatula. Now I am a happy camper! This has been a wonderful addition to my kitchen and has helped me eat healthier and save money, since I don't eat out as often as before. All in all, a great value for your money!

After listening to people go in and on about how great the George Foreman grill is, I decided to see for myself, and at the amazon sale price of 19.99, I figured if I hated it, it wouldn't matter all that much.Well, I tried it. I loved it. I am, as a previous reviewer referred to himself, a food snob. I dislike most gadgets and rarely use anything other than my ice cream maker. I am in love with my cast iron skillets. You know something? The Foreman Grill does a better job than the skillet on steaks, burgers, veggie burgers, etc. You can throw a *frozen* burger or steak on this baby and it cooks it. Beautifully. Juicy and well charred. It's also great if you're cooking just for yourself. The surface area's really only good for one person, maybe two at the top. But it takes just minutes to make a terrific meal and cleanup's ridiculously simple. Even easier than my cast iron skillets. I love this thing and shall be using it a lot. Haven't tried grilled sandwiches yet, but I hear the grill makes them killer.
