I make protein waffles on a daily basis... they tend to be a bit stickier than normal batter, so I have been on a quest for quite some time to find the "right" waffler. After a series of disappointments, I FINALLY found it. This model is superb. I brush a miniscule amount of canola oil on the grids prior to putting in the batter and out pops perfection. For [$$], you just can't go wrong! Enjoy! Rating: - Great waffle iron!! ... this is the best waffle iron I've ever used. Extremely easy to handle/clean and makes very good, crisp waffles consisitently. Villaware made a reliable waffle iron at a fair price. Don't hesitate on this purchase. Just buy it.
